Position Overview

This internship is designed for college students eager to gain practical IT experience. Youll work alongside experienced professionals, supporting day-to-day IT operations and learning through real-world projects. The role is structured to provide mentorship, skill-building, and exposure to a variety of IT functions.

Internship Details

  • Location: Lindsay, NE
  • Duration: Year-long assignment (hours negotiable to accommodate academic commitments)
  • Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled in a relevant college program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shadow and assist IT team members with troubleshooting and resolving basic computer and network issues.
  • Participate in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and calibrating printers and other devices, under supervision.
  • Support the setup and configuration of hardware and software for end users.
  • Help document IT processes and solutions for future reference.
  • Learn and apply desktop service desk workflows and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment.
  • Observe and assist with system analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to IT research and surveys to identify areas for improvement.
  • Practice safe data handling and learn about IT security protocols.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to expand technical knowledge.

  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow.
