Donor Relations Associate - Omaha or Lincoln, FT Days (Monday-Friday)

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for maintaining and updating donor records in CRM software, Raiserâ??s Edge, to ensure data integrity and help inform future engagement strategies. Data management includes accurate input of gifts, creation of mailing and research lists, donor tracking reporting. Coordinates the prospect discovery and qualification process as well as donor stewardship process, including drafting acknowledgment letters and sending timely communications. Responsible for donor development of all donor groups as assigned. Support programs and events to cultivate donors as needed. Must be highly organized and able to function independently. Must be proficient at using software programs including all Microsoft Office Programs and fundraising software, preferably Raiserâ??s Edge. Responsible for maintaining quality relationships through communications with donors, board members, internal and external customers and volunteers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage and maintain the donor CRM database (Raiserâ??s Edge), taking initiative to maximize its use for donor activity and data integrity with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain records of all commitments and pledges and issues pledge reminders for Gift Officers.
  • Engage in professional and educational development activities to stay abreast of current developments in operations and administration of fundraising organizations, specifically with database operation products.
  • Primary point of contact for Foundation employee and patient assistance programs, including vendor payments and data reporting. May assist with other Foundation programs as needed.
  • Analyzes data from financial reporting and donor activity to effectively inform fundraising activities and relationships including effectively loading wealth screen data into constituent/prospect records.
  • Create and maintain reporting functions to support accounting 990 reports, National Advancement Committee reports, and other donor related data points.
  • Able to handle sensitive data and information in confidential manner with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Assist with the successful growth of the grateful patient program including timely delivery of grateful patient mail solicitations and coordination of award presentations.
  • Assist with new employee onboarding and ongoing training for donor CRM software to ensure accuracy of data input.
  • Perceive donor and customer relations as primary focus and continuously strives to put the Madonna Foundation and hospitals in the greatest light by meeting the operational needs of fundraising experts.
  • Follow instructions from supervisor to perform other functions as assigned in order to achieve the goals within the department and/or system.
  • Proficient with computer skills, including donor database software, e-mail, word processing, presentations, mail merge, and spreadsheet functions.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelorâ??s Degree preferred.
  • Three years relevant work experience in database management required.
  • Relevant work experience includes CRM database management (preferably Raiserâ??s Edge), Foundation support and fundraising, producing reports and presentation materials and project management.
  • Database integrity management strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive use of personal computer and software programs relevant to office administration required.
  • Knowledgeable in the use of equipment for presentations and reports required
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, including grammar and spelling.
  • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities and desire to learn new programs or product enhancements.
  • Ability to work in demanding situations and interact in a positive, professional manner with staff and public, either in person or by telephone.
  • Must perceive customer relations as a primary focus.
  • Must have valid driverâ??s license and proof of safe driving record.
